Ingredients
- 3 cups stewed apples, drained
- (Frozen berries are optional!)
- ½ cup rice flakes
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup gluten free flour or baking mix
- 1 teaspoon mixed spice
- 50g cold butter
Method
- Put the fruit in a pie plate or shallow dish
- Combine the remaining ingredients and cut in butter until mixture is crumbly
- Sprinkle topping over the fruit, then microwave on High for 8-12 minutes
- Leave to stand for 10 minutes, then serve with cream or ice-cream
To make this recipe dairy-free, serve with a fruit sorbet or coconut ice cream/yoghurt. Replace butter with dairy-free spread. This recipe is nut-free by default.
