Bakels Banana Bread Brunch Delight

SERVES: 2

PREP & COOK TIME: 2 minutes

Ingredients

2 slices of Bakels Banana Bread
1/2 cup ricotta
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup fresh or frozen (defrosted) raspberries
2 Tbsp roasted hazelnuts roughly chopped
1 tsp hemp seeds to garnish
1 tsp orange zest to garnish
maple syrup or honey to drizzle

*This recipe uses the Bakels Banana Bread mix.

Method

  1. Toast banana bread.
  2. Mix the ricotta and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Lightly mash the raspberries with a fork.
  3. Spread ricotta on toast slices and top with the raspberries.
  4. Sprinkle over the hazelnuts, hemp seeds, and orange zest.
  5. Drizzle with maple syrup or honey.
