Since September 2019 Wendy has led Coeliac New Zealand as its General Manager. She believes collaboration is the glue that holds for purpose organisations together. Wendy has 2 decades of experience leading not for profit organisations as a CEO in the for-purpose sector including responsibilities for human resource management, financial management, project management, strategic planning and event management and a similar amount of time in commercial sector prior to that. She thinks that kindness and empathy are the most powerful things in the universe, and we never know another person's journey until we let them tell it. Wendy leads Coeliac New Zealand towards achieving our strategic priorities of advocating and raising awareness about coeliac disease, providing education and supporting research initiatives.
