Working at Coeliac New Zealand, I have learnt so much in 2024.  People have been my greatest learning asset as you, our community have shared your stories and your lives with us here at Coeliac New Zealand.

As a small organisation, we strive to meet the needs of our community and to grow knowledge, encourage participation and provide understanding.  We have provided training to the community, education to health professionals and community organisations, coordinated events, developed clinical health pathways, engaged with new partners to spread awareness, increased our Crossed Grain Logo accredited product range and we even celebrated 50 years as an organisation.

As we head into the New Year, we strive to bring more knowledge, understanding, choice when dining out, and education to the community. We want to increase our visibility as the only organisation dedicated to supporting the coeliac community.

As we plan the blog topics for the year, we would like to pose the question to our community – what is of interest to you?  What topics would you like to hear about through our newsletter?  Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas with us, you can email these to healthpromotion@coeliac.org.nz .
