We are rolling out our new training module – Gluten Free Food Safety Masterclass

Months in the making, Coeliac NZ is excited to announce the launch of our Gluten-Free Food Safety MASTERCLASSWe have been working hard behind the scenes, to develop an exclusive, in-depth training module for hospitality management to extend on the knowledge of our current Gluten Free Food Safety Training Certificate and to support the implementation of safe food safety practices for gluten management. This Masterclass is not just about food safety – it’s about creating trust, confidence, and connection at the dining table. It’s about making sure people with coeliac disease, their friends, and their families can enjoy eating out without fear.

While this training is not an accreditation, and Coeliac New Zealand cannot guarantee the safety of any individual café or restaurant, it provides another layer of knowledge, transparency, and commitment to supporting our community.

A Community Effort – Get Involved

Coeliac New Zealand is a small organisation, supported by our volunteers, members, Medical Advisory Panel, and Board – but together we can make a big impact. We’re thrilled to launch this Masterclass and can’t wait to see hospitality leaders across Aotearoa stepping up to support our gluten-free community.  But we need your help! You can support the uptake of this training by encouraging your local cafés, restaurants, food trucks, and caterers to take it up.  We will be developing a QR code resource that can be distributed out in your community, linking businesses directly to our website and training opportunities.
