The Aotearoa Bike Challenge is back, and Coeliac New Zealand is taking part!
We’re encouraging as many of our employees, Board, volunteers, and members as possible to take part in this national bike challenge (Feb 1 - 29) to help more people discover the many benefits of riding a bike, including:
💪 Improve your physical health – riding is a low-impact form of exercise that can have a big impact on your cardiovascular health, strength, and stamina
💜 Reduce stress and anxiety – enjoy a mindful activity that gives your endorphins a boost
🌳 Cut your carbon emissions – when we make our A to B car-free, we make a positive impact on our environment
💰 Save money – reduce your transport, fuel, and car maintenance costs

Join Coeliac New Zealand in the Aotearoa Bike Challenge this February!
Last year 23,000 people committed to ride towards a cleaner, greener, more bike-friendly New Zealand as part of the #AotearoaBikeChallenge.
Will you join this year?
Coeliac New Zealand believes that a healthy and happy workplace is the cornerstone of a successful organisation, however, as a small team, we need your help to boost our results. Why the Aotearoa Bike Challenge, you ask? Well, not only does it promote a healthy, sustainable, and eco-friendly mode of transportation, but it also provides an exciting platform for our staff, volunteers, and members to engage in a fun and friendly competition. We also want to remember and recognise the incredible fundraising effort Coeliac NZ board member Max Smitheram and his friend Andrew Trevelyan achieved on the 3,000 km ‘Tour Aotearoa’ cycle route from Cape Reinga to Bluff.
It doesn’t matter if you’re new to riding, a regular rider, or have never ridden a bike before. All you have to do is ride for 10 minutes or more to go into the prize draws!
🏆 We’re hoping to get Coeliac New Zealand noticed on the workplace leaderboard this year.
Riding is awesome! Join Aotearoa Bike Challenge 2024 and let’s get more people enjoying the freedom of two wheels. More info here to join our Coeliac NZ team.
