Arnott’s launches delicious range of gluten-free biscuits
As lunchboxes are prepped ahead of the new work and school year, Arnott’s has launched a new range of iconic gluten-free biscuits that don’t compromise on taste, texture, or quality.
Providing snacking salvation for the growing number of Kiwis who avoid gluten, the lineup includes gluten free versions of classic favourites; Scotch Finger and Tiny Teddy.
It is estimated coeliac disease affects 60-70,000 Kiwis (1), but more are believed to have non-coeliac gluten sensitivity. While New Zealanders have a big appetite for gluten-free treats, many have found themselves in the unlucky position of settling for snacks that don’t taste as good as they would expect. Arnott’s has stepped in to solve that issue. Carefully crafted with a gluten free flour blend that includes maize starch, tapioca starch, rice, sorghum, and soy, the new range will satisfy stomachs and tantalise tastebuds.
Michelle Kitchen, Arnott’s Brand Manager, said, “Arnott’s has had an eye on this category for some time, however, we didn’t want to take the plunge until our gluten-free products met the high standard we’re known for. We’re so excited for the range to finally hit shelves. Great care has been taken to ensure these biscuits meet the exact taste specifications of our Arnott’s culinary team. “We worked closely with the coeliac societies in both New Zealand and Australia to ensure the biscuits adhere to the strict requirements of their endorsement program, and the Crossed Grain Logo also features on pack.”
Arnott’s Gluten Free Favourites will be available at Supermarkets nationwide for $4.80 from this month.
